Originally from Brazil where he developed his talent and love for creating exquisite jewelry, Vitor first came to the United States in 1989 for an 18-month contract with a jeweler in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  He would still be there, except he and his wife did have a problem with the weather.  “It was too cold,” his wife Evanir said. Lucky for us, a Brunswick jeweler had advertised nationally for a master craftsman. Vitor responded by relocating to Brunswick about 17 years ago, and in 2002 he went out on his own to open Designer’s Boutique Fine Jewelry. They are the only private jewelry store in the southeast capable of manufacturing anything "in house".

For the new location on Shoppers Way in Brunswick, he enlisted the services of an Italian architect specializing in retail jewelry space, and together they brought Vitor’s dream to a reality: a cutting edge facility with adequate space for the creation and display of his work.  Designer’s Boutique spans a 2500 square foot space which is divided between the front area showroom and the back work area, which houses the latest in technology to create unique jewelry from Vitor’s designs.

Vitor is proud to boast customers from all across the country, and beyond. Admiration of an exquisite piece of jewelry often leads to conversations about where it came from, and often those beautiful pieces are the creations of Vitor Toniolo. As he calls himself, this “professional bench jeweler” is justifiably proud of his craft. He is also proud that his parents are now a part of his business. His father retired from his successful jewelry business in Brazil and has now joined his son to create the beautiful pieces displayed at Designer’s Boutique. Now 75 years old, Nirceu Toniolo is also guiding the boutique’s only other employee.
